 General Information

LeeAnn Williams has been with Purdue University’s Department of Agricultural Economics since 1996. In her most recent role as Director of Advising & Student Services, she oversees every function of the undergraduate student services experiences and guides the team of four professional advisors. These responsibilities include the administration of academic advising and registration of student; selection and management of scholarship and award recipients; interaction with industry representatives, alumni, and donors; and preparing and highlighting students for graduate school or professional careers through transformational experiences such as internships, study abroad, student leadership experiences, undergraduate research, etc.

LeeAnn currently teaches AGEC 298, Sophomore Seminar, and advises the Agricultural Economics Envoys. Through the years, she founded the Women in Agribusiness Learning Community, co-led a study abroad to Ireland, served on numerous department head and dean search committees, served as President of PACADA (Purdue Academic Advising Association), sat on College of Ag Curriculum Student Relations Committee as the first-ever advising representative, served as advising representative on Purdue University Core Curriculum, and numerous other college and university committees during her career.

LeeAnn earned both her M.S. and B.S. from Purdue’s Department of Agricultural Economics.  She and her husband, Clint, enjoy attending their children’s sporting events and traveling!
