 General Information

Betty Jones-Bliss is an associate director for the Center for Food and Agricultural Business at Purdue University. Betty directs the development, design and delivery of custom educational solutions that meet the needs of corporate clients. In this role, she leads curriculum development in collaboration with client company management and program instructors, develops individual subject areas important to client learners, and cultivates and manages new and existing client relationships. Specific projects under her direction range from on-site, multi-seminar management and leadership development programs for top-tier corporate professionals to executive-level seminars designed to promote strategic thinking in the food supply chain. These projects take her to a number of international locations, most recently Brazil, India and Europe, thus enhancing her understanding of global agribusiness issues. 

Betty holds a bachelor’s degree in consumer affairs and a master’s degree in higher education administration, both from Purdue University. Betty attends LifePointe Church and is on the advisory board for Zoetime Ministries. She and her husband, Keith, reside in Charleston, Ill., where he owns a business focused on health and nutrition. Between them, they have two grown sons, two daughters, two granddaughters and a Golden Retriever. They enjoy entertaining at their home in the country and experiencing different customs while traveling in the United States and abroad.
